MEDS stands for ‘Meeting of Design Students’ and over the last six years it became an international network with participants from more than 35 countries. Once a year, MEDS organizes a workshop for around 250 students and young professionals from design, architecture, offering the opportunity to get hands on experience in different workshops and to meet people from the creative industry. But for some people MEDS is much more than this, it’s kind of a family, a family of young creatives and geeks aiming for something better. It teaches things that students often don’t learn in university anymore – how to really make things, cultural differences and that together you can go further.

MEDS happens every year in a different country, organized by different people from the same network and during the MENC (meeting of National Contacts). This way it stays divers and is always a little different. Here some impressions of MEDS2016 in Bucharest, the city of contrast.
